Beauty Brand Design & Product Graphics
Rock Your Hair was loud on purpose.
A nationwide cheer brand rooted in color, movement, and tween confidence — and the campaigns needed to feel just as bold. As a Graphic Designer in Los Angeles, I was brought in to develop marketing and fundraising catalogs that could energize teams, engage young athletes, and translate pop culture into something wearable and sellable.
The visual direction leaned unapologetically bright — a collision of rainbow palettes, pop art influence, and high-gloss cheer culture — designed to grab attention instantly and hold it.
Designing for Energy, Not Subtlety
The audience was specific: tween athletes immersed in performance culture. The work had to feel immediate, expressive, and slightly larger than life.
- Saturated color systems
- Bold typography
- Pop-inspired graphic elements
- High-contrast layout structures
- Fundraising-focused messaging
Print design was central — these pieces had to travel home in backpacks, sit on kitchen tables, and convert interest into orders.

Everything was designed to feel kinetic — like the sport itself.
Designing for Energy, Not Subtlety
The final campaigns amplified brand visibility within cheer communities nationwide. The catalogs balanced commercial clarity with visual excitement, making fundraising materials feel collectible rather than transactional.
For me, this project reinforced something I carry into all branding work as a Los Angeles graphic designer: understand the culture first — then design for it.
