Rush Forth Productions — Brand & Digital Design

Brand Identity System

The brand identity design for Rush Forth Productions began with typographic exploration and visual tone studies. From there, a refined system emerged—balancing cinematic weight with modern clarity. The logo, color palette, and graphic language were designed to scale seamlessly across digital and print.

RushForth Productions commissioned a poster and signage system for a stage adaptation of Il Bidone, directed by Federico Fellini. The visual direction nods to mid-century European cinema, with quiet references to circus posters, propaganda graphics, and restrained art deco structure. The goal wasn’t nostalgia — it was atmosphere. Something theatrical, slightly surreal, and rooted in period influence without feeling costume-like.

Visual Direction & Concept Development

Early concepts focused on contrast, rhythm, and pacing. As a result, the visual direction evolved into a cohesive identity that feels both intentional and expressive. Each element supports the core idea: movement, storytelling, and forward momentum.

Digital & Motion Applications

The brand identity design for Rush Forth Productions extends into digital environments, including motion graphics and screen-based layouts. These applications were designed to maintain clarity while enhancing the cinematic tone of the brand.

Typography & Layout System

Typography plays a central role in shaping the brand voice. Clean, structured layouts were developed to guide the viewer while allowing the content to breathe. In addition, consistent spacing and hierarchy reinforce usability across formats.

Designing for Stage, Not Screen

The identity had to hold up at scale — from street posters to interior theater signage.

I began with typography. Mid-century proportions. Slightly dramatic, but disciplined. From there, I layered in visual cues inspired by Fellini’s cinematic tone — tension, spectacle, subtle absurdity. Color choices leaned muted and intentional. Nothing ornamental without reason.

Scalable Brand Experience

Finally, the system was built for flexibility. Whether applied to social media, video, or promotional assets, the identity remains consistent while adapting to different contexts. This ensures long-term usability and brand recognition.
